Material Futures is a self initiated project, where we explore the visual expression and potential application of materials.
For this first study, we focused on Mycelium. A material as varied in its use as in its natural qualities. It also has the advantage of being present all around us.
Through this project, we aim to engage with designers and researchers that are actively working to change our ways of making and production systems.
We aim to further our knowledge of the materials that surround us, their uses, and how they stand to improve our current systems.
